We are very proud of our school environment.  In 2007 we came first in Llandudno in Bloom and we are grateful to Mrs Owens (Year 3) who coordinates this work for the school . We have won this competition in the Schools' Category every year since 1993 except for 2001. This was the year that the goats came down from the Great Orme and destroyed most of the shrubs in the gardens, however we still managed to come second in the competition. In 2000 we came first in Wales in Bloom, but have not entered it since.In 2005 our gardens came first in the Snowdonia Wildlife Gardens Competition.

In 2006 Rolls Royce recognised the school's 'outstanding contribution to the teaching of science' and in 2007 awarded the school with an Award of Merit together with £1000 to purchase further moth traps. Details of this project can be seen by clicking the image below.

In 2006 the school was recognised as an 'Eco-School' and was awarded an Eco Flag.
