Four tiny hedgehogs were discovered in the Pygmy Hedgehog enclosure today. The hedgehogs are only a few hours old and can not be disturbed now for three weeks. The slightest disturbance may cause mum to devour the entire litter. This is a protective instinct - mum would rather kill the babies than let a predator make a meal of them. These hedgehogs will be for sale in 10 weeks time.

Generation Green Press Release

Exciting initiatives inspire the children to want to write. This term: travel along the Menai Straits; learn the story of the Welsh Dragon on location on top of Dinas Emrys; climb the Welsh Matterhorn, Y Cnicht; discover the Tudors in Plas Mawr,Conwy and work alongside award winning authors. The school goldfish has been replaced by chameleons, chickens, tortoises, several species of gecko and exotic frogs the size of saucers. Preparing the next generation of Steve Backshalls, David Attenboroughs and Iolo Williamses.

We use Apprentice style challenges to inspire and promote entrepreneurial skills and develop each child’s creativity thus ensuring each child reaches their full potential, to be fully literate and to be able to participate in a bilingual society. How do we do this?

We provide a stimulating and challenging curriculum, empowering children to think for themselves and to exceed their expectations; realising the limitations of the classroom as a learning environment and the opportunities that the wider environment holds.
